Vetenarian, Ross Williamson, working with horses in the Middle East

Last week, veterinarian Ross Williamson entertained us with his stories from over 40 years of overseas experience, mainly in the Middle East.

Ross started his adventures in the 1970s when he moved to Tehran, Iran before taking up a position in Saudi Arabia.

With a deep involvement in the horse racing industry Ross had some wonderful stories of the rivalry between Saudi and other Middle East nations (eg Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, UAE) to breed the world’s best racehorses.
