If you are a young professional, looking to enhance your knowledge, skills and ability in the workplace, the Rotary District 9670 has an outstanding opportunity for you.  Rotary is currently inviting applications from individuals for a vocational and cultural exchange.   In late May/ June 2015, the Rotary District 9670 is sending 4 people from this region to Germany (Essen and Dortmund area) for a 4 week Group Study Exchange.  The exchange aims to take young (25 – 40 year old) professionals to another country and provide opportunities for them to observe their profession in action, exchange ideas and information as well as providing cultural immersion through home hosting.

This highly successful program by the Rotary Foundation has been in place for over 25 years, and has enabled personal and professional development for participants around the world.  Far from a holiday, this program will keep participants busy in planning and preparing for the exchange, and once on the ground, a truly once in a lifetime opportunity unfolds.  As an ambassador for your profession, for Australia and for Rotary you will be meeting with peers, municipal leaders, Rotarians and families, exchanging ideas, embracing opportunities, and immersing yourself in a new culture.

Applications close on in August 22, 2014 .  Information about eligibility, expectations and responsibilities is available on the Rotary District 9670 website (under The Rotary Foundation tab).   If this is the challenge you have been searching for, visit www.rotary9670.org.au or contact Rotary Club of Mudgee via Paul on 63727670 or Des Dowdy on  63729007 for more information.
