At the Club’s meeting on Wednesday 19 February the Club was presented with a Rotary International Citation with a Gold Presidential distinction for our achievements during 2018-19 year.
This is the first time in its 82 year history that our Club has been recognised with such an award. The Award recognises the Club’s membership growth, its success in fundraising and delivery of service projects and enhancement of the Club’s public image and awareness within the community. It reflects the level of activity of our Club and its members within the Mudgee community in a range of areas which are covered on this site as well as its support for Rotary International projects such as Clean Water.
Our Club President for 2018-19, Chris Stephens, accepted the award from 2018-19 District Governor, Brian Coffey, who had made a special trip to Mudgee to present the Award.
Chris thanked all the Club Members and acknowledged the Award was a wonderful endorsement for our Club activity and members enthusiastic support and success during the year.
