On the Tuesday night meeting, an honorary member of Mudgee Rotary, Dennis De Kantzow (also member of Turramurra Rotary Club), spoke briefly about Polio epidemic in the 50’s.
The project to eradicate polio has been successful but not finished. There are still a number of countries with polio. To raise more fund, Dennis offered a 2016 calendar with donation towards the cause.
