I am pleased to advise that the two Mudgee Rotary Clubs have been acknowledged at the Mid–Western Regional Council Australia Day Awards.
The acknowledgement was for the combined Mudgee Clubs contribution to the “Central West NSW Bushfire Disaster Relief”. I am humbled to have represented our Club especially when many of our Club members, the local community and other Rotary Clubs were so generous in their contribution to the success of the project.
It is also appropriate to acknowledge the sup-port of Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) who provided the framework that enabled us to gain tax deductibility for donations made to the project.
Once again, the ability and willingness of the two Mudgee Clubs to collaborate and share skills & resources is a wonderful model that provides substantial advantage to the local community.
