Peter Brennan enlightened the audience at the club’smeeting last week. Peter is a fifth generation Australian, his ancestors migrated from Ireland. In the early years his family lived in the Central West region of NSW.
He met his other half at a local school and the partnership has endured to the present day.
Peter managed a number of large farms in the area and eventually moved to the Hunter region where a number of events leading him to become an environmental manager and consultant for mining companies. Peter discussed some strategies in solving environmental damages caused by mine activities.
Peter and wife Margaret have now settled down in Mudgee and the style of ourclub suited well withhis aspiration of a Rotary club.
Prior to his move to Mudgee, Peter was a member of the Rotary Club
of Singleton where he was a Past President (2001/02).
